Wow! I'm honoured, a thread all of my own :) Thanks for asking after us guys and you'll be pleased to know that we are fine. It absolutely hammered it down here and we live in a flood area, but luckilly for us the stream that runs at the back of our garden held, although it is the highest I've ever seen. Bournemouth and Poole took the brunt of it, but the drive to work and back was very interesting because the roads were like rivers! It's the bloody council and highways agency that are to blame. They spend all that money putting roadside drains in and then don't clean the ****ing things out when they get full of leaves and debris, which ultimately causes the flooding.

    ****ers!!! <doh>

flash floods in Dorset? We've got the family down for birthday celebrations at the weekend. Half of them are in tents in the garden. Last time I looked the tents are still there...

Bournemouth was an absolute nightmare. Town centre was closed and the roads were chaos, took my wife 45 minutes to drive 2 miles.

It was supposed to be the first day of the Bournemouth airshow yesterday.:emoticon-0120-doh:

Today is clear sky and sunshine so we should see plenty of
