I know I've been moaning a lot about us but I've mainly been moaning about how wafer thin our squad is. The players though can at least play football and against the poorly managed **** kickers of Palace,we should do well. We only need padding to fill out our squad whereas Palace need a major rebuild from top to bottom. de Boer is a dick so I'll be shocked if we lose this one.

Could well happen, depends on results though.If we don't sign any one of any consequence in the next week then the pressure on PC will become intense and very unfair.

Maybe Clement should grow a pair and vent his frustrations publicly. He'd have the full support of the fans.
Our squad isn't just wafer thin, it's full of average players. Name one stand out player.
Arguably the weakest squad we've had in the EPL.
Of our 45 goals from last season, 25 were scored by player who are injured or have left.

Just to remind you, what stand out players did we have in our 1st season in the PL , our strength was we played as a unit with no super stars and I'd was happy with that but our identity has gone , maybe Clement can do something about that but will he give himself time and more importantly will the Board
But we had just been promoted. We are now in our 7th season and we have no stand out player that would get in most PL sides outside the top 6. Someone with that X factor who can win a game on his own with a little bit of magic, like Bony, Michu, Gylfi etc.
On the whole, this is by far our weakest team in the PL.
Like I posted , they were no superstars just hard working with a great team ethic who bought into what the Clubs' philosophy was , once that was tampered with and eventually destroyed by Monk we have now seen the Clubs' decline .They were all stand out players.....They got us to the premiership..

How do you quantify it though ? and I'm not saying your wrong but our strength was our philosophy now we have nothing therefore our squad looks poor in comparison because we can't play as a unit from the back through the middle waiting for an opportunity therefore that's why we were so reliant on Siggy and Llorente last season .There are signs that we could become a regular PL mid table side based on what Clement is trying to do but has he the patience and the time to get his methods fully integrated throughout the squad.
