i would of loved andy to stay but he's gone, lets move on and look ahead!
it is liverpool being questioned for their outrageous bid not newcastle being slated for selling our player so the league thinks we've done some great business, we just sold a good player for one and half rooneys! thats a great deal, shame it was so bloody late in the day like!

rite if we are going down the arsenal route i should expect we'll be buying youth in the summer! their are some cracking good players out their which realistically we could get!

providing we have the funds avail, which players would you like in?

We need 2 new forwards for next season and hopefully then can click

I think Nicklas Bendtner and Gabriel Agbonlahor would be a cracking little partnership. But at what price? Maybe bit expensive

I tried to light some optimism in me but it failed...as poorly as that kid failed trying to light his Carroll shirt.

Gutted he's gone but no way is he worth 35 million plus. Liverpool are either the biggest chumps in football or having made a cracking calculated gamble. I think back 12 months when a lot of us were disappointed that Beckfordnwas not signed. Back then not a lot of us saw much in Carroll. Hopefully young Nile can now prove he's got it in him. As for Carroll loyalty used to count for something I blame his agent for engineering a move and Fat Mike for not telling Carroll and Liverpool to do one. Seems the Blackpool chairman had the balls to do that. Backward step for the club.

If the full 35 Million was available to us id like to see atleast 25Mill on fresh new first team players and 10Mill on talented youngsters, compared to other premiership teams our academy lacks good forign youngsters we seem to have english and australian youngsters which dont seem to be coming through while Man Utd etc they seem to find quality youngsters, Will keane, Paul Pogba a few to name. We no longer seem to find any french, spannish or german youngsters between 15-17, allthough i like to see english players we are lacking the technical skill throughout the club. A few years time teams like Man Utd and chelsea will be bringing excellent new youngsters through while wel be waiting for next "shearer" etc. First team wise we need to raid russian, german and dutch & spannish leagues. We need to keep up with the other teams our scouting is terrible!

we CAN stay in the premiership! we will have a solid base to build from and a few quailty addings i think will make us a strong outfit

a few people are asking if oceans 11 are carrolls agents lol

Illness: Post-Carrollitus

Cure:

Peter Lovenkrands finding his form from last season.
Hatem Ben Arfa returning stronger than ever and proving why he's one of the brightest young prospects in European football.
Nile Ranger learns how to score.
Leon Best becomes consistently decent back up.
Vuckic, Ferguson, Inman, Airey, LuaLua, Kadar, Donaldson and others all step up their game and help pad out our thin first team squad.
£35m to be spent on 3-4 very good players to pad out squad further.

If after 6 months, none of the above have materialised, you are ****ed...

Carroll will get homesick and see his newcastle days with heavy nostalgia

He'll try and come home and I hope he'd get his knees broken for it

I can't see Ashley investing any of the money in the team. If he was that interested he would have provided some funds at start of window. The only thing I want in the summer is Ashley gone gone if he stays Enrique will be next, then Colly and Tiote.
