Norwich want to sign Stuart Dallas.

Norwich, the club who pinched our stars on the cheap like Bradley Johnson, Snodds, Howson and Becchio

Norwich, the club who swapped Becchio for Steve Morison

Norwich, the club who refused to sell Sergi Canos to us, opting for Brentford instead.

One player we managed to sign Adam Drury, lasted only a couple of games, and was instrumental in Snodgrass joining his former club.

Now, they want Dallas!!!

We don't need to sell and as they are in the same division I'd hope he didn't see them as a bigger club putting in a transfer request

I think Dallas will play an important part this season, not a major one along the magnitude of Alioski but I'd still tell them NO!

Hugil I had to Wiki and he doesn't look anything special, Ipswich put a 1.5m bid in for him and it was turned down, I can't believe this is one we have been watching 'in case' Wood decided to leave?

I had never heard of Hugill until we played PNE. He was an utter brute & got my attention. Fought for everything, fairly & unfairly, & was a pure barsteward. Pretty sure it was him that forced Wood to change his shirt after a bit of elbow placing. He was mobile & dangerous.

Did he score? No.
Did he look like scoring? Can't recall.
Did he lead the line well? Deffo yes.

He won't score as many as Wood did last season. No-one would, including Wood. We've got a different style this season that would stop anyone scoring so many. Our style will spread the scoring responsibility - as we're beginning to see. On that basis, £2m might be a good punt IMO.

We have a chance with Hugill because he wants to leave... rumours are hudds have a bid in for him (if so they'd be favourites given the league they're in) Birmingham have had two bids rejected. He doesn't score too many but he is a handful, he's improving and last year and the start of this he's got a lot of people's attention.

Rumour is preston are resigned to losing but have set a fig of about 6milion which no one has met yet.

Sounds a lot for a guy with 1 good season behind him... not all Preston fans love him but most have come round to him... and yes he caused our defence all sorts of problems the other week which may have brought him to the management teams attention.

But the fact it's known they're prepared to sell him makes him the most likely of the names bandied about for me.
 
talk was of 1.5m but then I heard it was actually 750k up front plus a a whole bundle of add-ons, resale % cut etc

Hugill born in Leeds but obviously shyte as he went to Bradfird City academy. He will only be good for specific games

Evening ristac. I too had to wiki Vigil tho there are a few that are excited on Twitter.
