For these kids, they've been picked for the national squad. How ****ing cool is that!!
How proud must their families be?

But then just to be shot down by the fans and the press!

What the **** is wrong in getting behind a young squad, desperate to play for their country?

I know I'm a hopeless romantic, but dear god, give the kids a chance.

I see about 5/6 winners in that squad and the rest are bottlers, it's a terrible squad. I have no hope for that lot, I can tell already that it would take a genius to make that bunch of misfits into winners and Southgate certainly ain't a genius.

We've got some brilliant players.

Butland, Pickford, Dier, Rashford, Alli and Kane.

That's nowhere near enough for a brilliant first XI, the rest are not good enough to win a tourney.

The squad is as bad as I've seen it talent-wise, then consider how they are all obsessed with image and money, and then consider Southgate... It's terrible imo.
