So now we've got an actual left back, what's Maxi's position going forwards? Is he a centre mid so cover there or more a wide midfielder? And what's his style - attacking, defensive, box to box?

I know eff all about him.

Yeah id have Clark and Batty on the bench as midfield options. I see no need to sign another CM like Bannan. What we really need is wingers, we have for many years and only Silva really tried to address that (and failed).

People do seem to complain about the result of a medical whatever it is. Anyone that gets injured after signing for us is "another crock". And Austin did actually miss a big chunk of the season following us turning him down through injury. Southampton signed him very cheap which probably owed something to his potential injury problem. Fact is, the guys who do these medicals are highly trained professionals who know what they're doing.

He failed his medical with us due to an issue with his knee, he missed two months the following season due to a nasty fall that tore the cartilage in his shoulder, the two were completely unrelated.

In the three years since he failed his medical with us, he's only once had a knee injury and he was only out for two weeks.

Fact is, we got that one wrong, these things happen.

It's the other foot he can't get through the door that is the problem :emoticon-0127-lipss.

HCAFC Doctor:
Need I say without overmuch emphasis that it is in the leg division that you are deficient.

Jon Toral:
The leg division?

HCAFC Doctor:
Yes, the leg division, Mr. Toral. You are deficient in it to the tune of one. Your right leg I like. I like your right leg. A lovely leg for the role. That's what I said when I saw you come in. I said "A lovely leg for the role." I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is - neither have you. You fall down on your left.

I was thinking, with Sam now gone is there any player we could lose this window that would be a major problem? My instinct is to say Daws but that's more for his character than actual ability. Abel is out and most would be happy to see Turbo go.

I suppose a few would be sad to see Bowen go but it would hardly be an issue.

Slutsky on Toral:

I think we must wait for official information. The hold up is paperwork but he will train today, i don’t foresee a problem.

He is a classic number 10 and he can turn defence into attack very quickly. We have a lot of players with the same situation, he come down from Premier League and he has a serious motivation for developing

Reassuring that he's training. Hopefully Ehab's not using the same fax machine he used to sign Salibur!

Maybe Toral will be involved tomorrow but he has been playing in under-23s all summer.

A lot of situation very difficult, because of players situation. We need to replace Sam Clucas and we are looking for a similar player. We have a big list, but not everybody coming in. We will see about new players but for me today the more important is the game.

Maybe we will have information today on a striker. We are very close to signing a striker and we do have an agreement with one. It is an important position and when you lose the best striker and it is difficult to replace.

Success, Musa and others are good players in our list.

Are you saying we have nothing of value left to sell?

That we wouldn't miss.
