I think its a fantastic idea and it would certainly brighten up the pre match atmosphere if adopted at every ground.

Off you go and melt, snowflake. The point is some groups are treated differently.

That may be true but that doesn't change the fact people automatically default to Muslims.

How about disabled people, pregnant woman...etc? How about a Sikh? They would have been treated differently too, no mention of them.

You made a valid point, but it's also fair to point out that the first group that came to your mind was muslims which is seemingly always the case with people these days.

The point is at a supposedly high risk match would a female wearing a burqa have been asked to display their bra? You couldn't even see their face.
Try getting into the KC wearing a balaclava.
How would disabled people have been treated differently? Or a pregnant female? They could be faking bdisability or hiding weapons in a false bump. And if you think that is far fetched, older fans will remember a couple of .Millwall fans getting into BP with plaster casts on which were then split open to reveal a stash of blades and sharpened screwdrivers and tbe like.

I wore a balaclava at City once (I think it was Chelsea at home when they were supposed to be banned, but were here in numbers)
A copper smacked me on the head with his truncheon and told me to take it off or I'd be arrested
He didn't engage in a debate about whether it was a culturally significant item of clothing

This is coming to an event near you. I do not approve of the actions of the stewards, but...

Do not be surprised if all liquids are seized. Last month a new risk was identified and there is widespread debate within the security and enforcement industry about liquids and risk assessments are being modified. Hand gels, soft drinks and any liquid stored in bottles that can be squeezed are considered to be high risk. The danger is not just in the liquid, but in the reaction if liquids are squirted. Now every such incident has initially to be treated as an acid attack. The reaction in my industry is that vehicles now carries 15 litres of water. Hand gel poses a significant problem as it can have the same appearance as thick toilet cleaner. Acid has become a weapon of choice. Carry a knife to a football game and you face imprisonment, its not the same for acid.

I had to make a three nines call this afternoon. The Police Officer who attended pointed out that there was a plastic bottle on one of the worktops, that was a first. I told him I was more concerned about the kebab knife the bloke had in his hand!

I hope putting vinegar on your chips doesn't become illegal.

The bobby was probably fresh out of Hendon, and upon seeing your head gear, though 'hmmm, there looks like some crime here'. Whereupon he proceeded to bash you on the bonce with his truncheon.

If you want retribution, I think the bobby lives down Tennyson Avenue, or was it Raglan Street? Anyway, a word of caution dennis, don't go charging in like the Light Brigade, if you do it probably won't end well.

Pleased to be of assistance.

Oooh oooh, an excuse for a repeat of an old joke...

The court was in session in the middle of summer and the prosecution was just summing up when someone burst through the doors wearing a scarf and earmuffs and proceeded to touch the breasts of all the ladies present before running out again
Stunned, the judge asked the court recorder what had just happened and the recorder looked at his notes and said

"... a muffled titter ran round the court"

A photofit. Is that a tash?

There was an obvious cardigan gag to be made and you missed it.
