I heard they're both ****s... I won't list who told me, I'll just say who didn't as it's quicker - PISKIE & HIAG
Quite possibly both. Hopefully not, on both counts. But it's Jose's 2nd season - the one where he wins the league, and preceding the one where his ego goes on the rampage causing him to destroy everything
Last season they were top of the league, I think, when Mane went to Acon. And 7th when he returned. And Barca are after Coutinho? Odd. When we had Mane (and Pelle) we could beat anyone on our day. He really is one of the best players in this league. As long as they have him, Liverpool have a realistic chance of scraping top 4 again.
You can't really fault Utd so far, but they have only played West Ham and Swansea, who both folded like a sack of **** when they played them Maureen was smug as **** yesterday, but I don't think it will be long before we see him bitching.
When Liverpool signed him I told their fans on here he's the only player they've signed from us who has genuine world class potential. Hopefully that's still true come September.
Yeah a big part of why I tipped them for the league pre season. Matic and Lukaku filled two big holes for them too.
I think it's the smugness that always ends up being his undoing - a little bit of humility makes him a better person, & probably a better manager. But when his ego lets rip he becomes a monster.
I'd say it's arguably both his strongest and weakest trait at the same time. Take that smugness and ego away and Mourinho isn't the serial winner he has been for the past decade or so imo.
Lukaku is absolutely the right player for them. At this point it looks a straight race between them and City. I might have a cheeky tenner on Arsenal now though - the odds will be quite good right now, & if they keep hold of Sanchez they have a chance. Getting beat by Stoke can happen to anyone, & Leicester are a strong side, so their two opening games really haven't been bad.
True, but he needs to reign himself in a bit. That's his fatal flaw - he can't, he loves himself too much. For the record, I like the guy, he's an asset to the PL. But best of all, I like seeing him crash and burn.
