Danny Drinkwater and Vincete Iborra have been ruled out. Robert Huth is close to returning but this game is probably too soon. Nampalys Mendy is back in full training. Kelechi Iheanacho is a doubt after suffering a toe injury in training. So here is what I would go with

Schmeichel

Simpson
Morgan
Maguire
Fuchs

Mahrez
James
Ndidi
Albrighton

Okazaki
Vardy

Subs- Jakupovic, Chilwell, Amartey, King, Gray, Slimani, Ulloa

The toe injury is apparently something he had for a while - should have been picked up in his medical...

Big game for Mahrez - play well and the position is his.

Half-hearted and he risks staying and not starting

Sounds like things are buggered up at the stadium though - season ticket holders have to upgrade their tickets and just got told today.

Maguire, N'didi and Mahrez excellent.

What we're people's thoughts on James? Steady but didn't do much. But the team did seem well balanced

Lackluster game imo, we seemed to sink to their level and grind out the result. A few positives from the game, but nothing to get carried away by.

We don't look good when we have large parts of the possession and are the ones who need to create something.

Brighton looked absolutely dire tbh, they are going to get smashed against teams that actually enjoy having possession.

Seen that two "fans" got arrested for homophobic chanting - dumb ****s will be banned at the minimum.

Will be interesting what happens when Brighton go to the London clubs though.
