How the **** do you stop this **** ?

Pedestrianise every city centre and have road blocks ? Seems like a massive logistical problem.

The trouble with this **** is that it's so random and easy for somebody with murderous intent to carry out.
 
BBC now saying 2 gunmen have barricaded themselves in a bar.
 
Some suggestion on social media that it might not be the same people, but they're connected.
Something about them renting two vans and the bar being a nearby but not that near.
No idea if it's true.

from terrorism (presumings its islamic extremism) i think it's the first time, or at least the first time it's been reported in our media (who knows how individual attacks get treated).

They've had loads in the past from ETA (is that right?) who were basque separatists

Edit: people wrote madrid 2004 was the first islamic terrorist attack

ETA are not far right, but to the left, just like the IRA was/is
