But why does any of it matter?
Why does putting £25 into the club and sitting there moaning at the player's mistakes from the stands make you (one, not you specifically) more of a supporter than somebody who would love to go and shout at every match but due to other commitments they just can't?
Not everybody has the luxury, or the desire to put their sports club ahead of their personal commitments every time there's a match on.
A plastic fan to me has nowt to do with who they chose to support originally, a plastic is somebody who'd basically just say they supported United for example, yet didn't have a clue about United or the history, they'd even attend games then just spend the entire time tagging themselves in Old Trafford and taking selfies. Fake.
