Lovely to see you sir, as always, you are bang on the money. If patience is a virtue, there sure are an awful lot of less than virtuous fans! <laugh>

Morning Dave, I´ll occasionally put in an appearance when the bug bites ( as you know). :) Fancy football´s all very nice, but there has to be an end product, and if they´re not going to start Hoolahan ( at least for the majority of games), then they might just as well launch it up the pitch. Despite his elderly status, he´s still the only one who can regularly create something out of nothing.

Herr Farke, hopefully, will learn with time.

Always good to have you back RBF and the poem is spot on. I fear that Farke has a 'philosophy' of football that isn't going to fare well in the Championship but it's early days and QPR will give us another indication. I can understand that he might want to give Wes a rest in 3 match weeks and Naismith and Maddison did well enough in his place, but I did feel that Wes and Oliveira could have been brought on sooner.

I don´t entirely go along with that Rick, they´re fully trained professionals for goodness sake, and should certainly be able to play 3 hours of football a week, no problem. I´m not suggesting that Wes should play all 90 minutes, every 90 minutes, but he should certainly start as many games as he is fit for, and play until he tires. He´s easily the most creative and inspiring player we have, and he should be allowed to show it. Far better to use him from the beginning of games, than as a sub with only 15 mins left.

I agree for the mainpart. if Wes is fit and showing form, I'd rather see him given the 1st 45-70 minutes of each game until form or fitness dictates otherwise (including a returning Pritchard being seen as in better form or a better bet) He is as good a player as we have for a possession based strategy and if we are to unpick locked 11 man defences then Wes is our best weapon.

Bah!

I'm inclined to agree with you General and I'm just hoping that Basil may get the starting slot with Watkins being the 'fall guy'.
