I agree it's all the same money to me, but a lot of people would feel let down (again), the club might think avoiding a PR own goal is worth it.

But anyway the more I think about this, I am still thinking it doesn't matter you won't come back in for him. It's been weeks, the price won't move and there hasn't been major stuff in the press since that leaking thing happened. I know there is Coutinho money maybe but I'm sure you aren't just waiting for the cash.

Cue deal done by tomorrow obviously.

To you lot maybe.

If we still strong and hold on to him once the window shuts then I reckon plenty of other clubs around the country will enjoy it and respect us for it (particuarly fellow smaller clubs), while you lot stamp your feet as you didn't get your own way :)

But they said no sale, you know, a bit like Klopp with Coutinho. Seems he can speak English but not understand it.

These two couple together make your club look right clowns and that's without the afternoon tea in Blackpool <laugh>

Nope. :) sorry but while you might find wums to agree with you the majority are thinking dont thrybknow how the game is played? And not to mention... talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face :)

Lfc know ALL about that second line btw... that's what everyone thinks of the sahko situation.


Btw.. the lfc apology I think was laughable and every club round Europe looked at that and said wtf.. you amateurs

No what happen was vvd said I have chosen lfc at which point said he board spat the dummy and ran to the fa.

I won't argue about how clownish and amateur off looked apologising having met the player unnecessarally.

The difference is 180k per week and a modicum of professionalism mean coutinho has so far kept his mouth shut while bar a try every trick in the book..


if i were you I'd try this line..... obviously Rogers was a better judge of character than klopp is. ;)

Go on now.. run along I will give another wum 101 class tomorrow

Especially since tapping up is the way to buy Europe, or at least nobody cares about it when it happens. (just have to look at how Real and Barca pursue their big name targets over the years).

Wonder if players are looking at Soton, who were maybe linked, thinking 'if I go there and do well they could try to or stop me from moving on when the chance comes'.

You do realise you was the only choice he had at that time, now he is just mentioning a "bigger club" because he knows there is interest from others <laugh>

People keep saying this, I highly doubt it will happen.

In fact we're due to announce the signing of a promising young midfielder from Juventus in next couple of days for a club record fee.

Potentially yes, I don't think signing players will be made any more difficult.

The markets we shop just want a crack at the PL, regardless of whether it's Stoke Southampton etc.

Don't think many will sign a new contract for 6 years without a clause though.
