Totally and utterly agree, especially if we're talking £90 - 100m. As you say, we already have the money for VVD and Keita, so we have no need to sell if/when they become available, and we're still hoping to get £30m for sakho (though if we don't get VVD I think we'd be ****ing insane to sell, but that's Jurgen's call). All that said, to get £130m+ of Barca's Neymar would be ****ing sweet, especially as they'll pay the agent's fees too, and hopefully we'll ask Ford to put in a TR. But Barca are playing the victim card and are looking for favours, so maybe we should do them a favour? How about this: we save them the price of an airfair by saying they don't need to keep sending representatives to London to meet Ford's agent unless they have a ****ing big, fat £135m cheque with our name on it?
To get Coutinho Barca should spend 3/4 of the money the are getting for Neymar. After all he is going to replace Neymar.
Barcelona will look at Philippe Coutinho and Angel di Maria as options to replace Neymar, according to transfer expert Gabriele Marcotti.
All of what you said is true, but nonetheless we should screw Barca for every penny, starting at £135m because they're desperate AND have money - juicy. And, in a now perfect storm, PSG need to shed good players in a market where a lot of clubs have already spunked their budgets - Jucier.
As my dad once said to me before Christmas when I told him I had my eye on a Claude Butler mountain bike 'You can keep your eye on it son, but you won't be getting your arse on it'.
Surely we must look at some PSG players now. If we were willing to spend that crap load on Keita, why not try for Verrati? Players like Lucas Moura don't get too much game time as it is, would be a great option for us up top too.
Apparently the Neymar buy out clause is 222m Euro, which must be paid in cash, none of this drip drip stuff Barca and Real Madrid do to everyone else.
