Well, Mildenberger was backed and the curse of QM saw it placed.

That said, Expert Eye was very impressive there. Travelled well throughout the race and drew away readily. It will probably be favourite for the 2018 Guineas before I have finished typing...

Unfair on Murphy. The horse was fly jumping and Murphy had his whip in the left hand. If he'd given him a Roberto finish he might have stayed straight. But he'd then have got a ban for overuse of the whip.
Between a rock and a hard place. Unfair

Get a new jockey on Librisa. Fair enough holding him up but get him out wide sooner and into the clear, yet again the ground he makes up when in the clear is eyecatching

SP of Breton Rock was 50/1, his best form was previously finishing 3rd in Group 1 Lockinge!

£7 matched at 1000-1! Ouch. Limato just not the horse he was, 4/5 lbs worse than last year.

LB very unlucky, would have won with a clear passage, swap jockeys and the result would be switched, AA was clever enough to get out wide and have a clear run, winston stupidly going for the miracle ride.....

Yeh, Winston is such a **** jockey, he's like the untalented version of Jamie Spencer. Glad I didn't go too big though as I said yard confidence wasn't as strong as Ascot last year.

Someone like Crowley or Kirby on Librisa = a different animal

Agree, but fancy The Queen winning in the Stewards' Room, wonders never cease? <laugh>

Never ever found Goodwood particularly glorious, so Sheikhzayedroad will probably be a good example why. Just a small punt. :emoticon-0100-smile

My regular readers will be delighted to hear that upon discovering the amending result of the card commencer I both ordered the ‘Royal standard’ to be raised at Chuckle Towers and yanked my Panama skywards.

Breton Rock though is the sort of result that has you hollering, ‘How could he have been 50/1, I say 50/1!?!?’. Did I consider backing him for even a second though…no I didn’t.

Whilst, Stradivarius proves to be another 3YO winner of an all-aged Group 1 then for old boy Gosden. No 'fiddle' jokes from me though I'm afraid.

Lucy, the weather girl. Isn’t she the filly that stands on the course and informs everyone if it’s currently raining or not?!? Always makes I chuckle when the interviewer looks shocked when she says it is raining even though they are holding an umbrella as they interview her!

A friend of mine has this one in a L31 along with UAE PRINCE 4th, STRADAVARIOUS 1st and the other 2 being GEORGE (4.10) and SHANANAGANS in the last.
