Having read a report on the game I am encouraged to see the use of wing backs for this game. This was used in one of the best periods in NCFC history with Mark Bowen and Ian Culverhouse in the team. If we can even get close to the performances put in by those two I will be well chuffed.

Just stopping for a pint of Regatta before heading home.
VERY impressed with the way we played today and in the words of a well known song - 'Things Can Only Get Better!!!!'
The whole team generally played well, Wildschut, Watkins, Reed and of course JM stood out and Basil was so unlucky to see his shot come back off the post.
Bring on Fulham.

I had to be sat next to someone who thought he was the manager and shouting instructions at the players all the time <doh>

But I was impressed with what I saw and feel more hopeful about this season, especially really liked what I saw from Maddison and Vrančić.

Thanks Woodbine - I was struggling to remember the latter's name and yes, he did have a good game as well.
In the coach and horses
At home - sorry.

So when Oliveira hits the post its unlucky, when Jerome does it it's another miss !!!

Not true and I was impressed with CJ today - especially his assist for Watkin's goal. :emoticon-0102-bigsm
In fact, I don't think any NCFC player had a bad game.
PS - were you at today's game???

They all had a good game I thought and what's promising is we still have Pritchard, Klose, Wes, Pinto all still to come back. Can't wait for the start of the season now.
