If that is right I wonder wh he didn't sell? According to Bain and Short the Germans were not right for the club. If he doesn't give a **** why would that matter! All cloak and daggers! (I'm nit disagreeing btw, just voicing my thoughts as none of it makes sense)
My take on that was that they didn't offer enough dollars and he used the failed bid as a way to score some points with the fans when he realised he was stuck with us. Maybe I'm too cynical, it has occurred to me before.

That's bollocks, they don't decide, that's a commission set up by the PL and FA which investigates potential buyers of their suitability once a price has been agreed and the Owner wants the take over to proceed. If they had ruled they were unsuitable there would be no confusion why it fell through. They would have issue their own press release.
I think Bain is doing a good job but believe him and Short are very very flexible with the truth, in this case is a prime example of their Bullshit. I surgest the Germans weren't suitable because they didn't offer enough money.
