There was no back pedal, and it appears that the penny has indeed just dropped....Barca and Madrid sit at the top of the food chain, and everyone has their place below them....including the RS. So every club in the chain is a selling club, as that's errrrrm how it ****ing works <doh>

So you admit that then using the term selling club was a piss poor wum effort that was blown out of thewater. Good.

There s more than enough ways to sum lfc and not look silly doing it.

<laugh> only one club in Liverpool sold Barca a player this window and it wasn't us <ok>

We didn't sell him though, they activated a buyback clause.

Oh and the window isn't shut yet....come back to me on Sept 1st ;)

Not sure how you reached that conclusion, given my comments only came after astro denied that you're a selling club, when you patently are, as every club in the pyramid is.

A buyback clause is just how big clubs make small clubs prepay the full amount of their loan deal <ok>

You've talked about pyramids and food chains but haven't backed any of it up

A better analogy would be Man Utd and Everton in a human centipede

We paid £4.3m and they bought him back for £10.6m after we'd already ****ed him off on loan for a season.

You don't do facts do you love <laugh>

It's merely a fact not my subjective opinion, it's how the game works you doughnut <laugh>

You paid £4.3m in 2015 money

Koeman's appalling team selection is nothing to do with it

Barca got him back because sub-£11m for a 23 winger is effectively free in this market

BTW they also activated him because they can't actually afford Coutinho

So since you sell to Barca and we don't that puts LFC and Barca at the top and Everton underneath?

The potential for massive egg on the grid over this issue is funny.

I can see a new sig coming <laugh>

We've had a player taken back on a buyback clause, you've seen them take rock up and take some of your best players off you over the years, and they're circling again at this very moment.

<laugh> circling the drain of financial doom you mean

TBH i don't think Barcelona could afford him without selling. Obviously if Neymar goes then i'd say its written in the stars.

But if they sell there squad players then we would have to look at cash plus players if we were to consider selling him.

I think there front three can last till next season and if they don't win anything again then they will have to spend big.
