This from the man who has consistently stated that Laudrup actually "relegated The Swans' ", when they were, in fact, two points above the drop zone, and in 12th position.

Everyone knows whats happened here..... Gylfi and the Swans have agreed a move and the fee. Swans are looking to sign someone before he goes in order for the price not to be ramped up. As soon as we agree a deal for someone (not public) then Gylfi will go.
Obvious innit ?

I want Gylfi gone from the club he is not worthy calling himself a jack, We would be foolish not to sell for such over the top money. Sell him and use the money on players we Really need...

One thing is for sure, relationships between Swansea and Everton fans' is tarnished.

Why ? Everton are a good club and it is us playing silly buggers over the price......He is not worth £20k in the real world.

Must say its been an absolute hoot this summer and a privilege to be doing business with Liverpools third best know club after The Mighty Reds and Accrington Stanley. Enjoy your 1 year Sigurdsson, that's all he's got left in him. Your right though, he was our best player last year but hey, you got your man, well done and I mean that because it looks like we'll have 50 million reasons not to care that much, £50m <laugh>

By the way, you still haven't told us what's happening with your boy Ross Barkley tobes, is he still mugging you off? Can't believe it, he's 24 with his best years yet to come. Wonder what you'll get for him? had any bids in yet?

Not what happened Dai, not what happened at all.

The number of hits we took last year should have sunk us and in the end it took an amazing effort from the players and PC to avoid relegation.

We were hit by wave after wave of crap last year starting with the clubs acrimonious sale, Ash being tapped up and leaving us, our terrible start under Guidolin, the disaster aka Bob Bradley. In our first 19 games we earned only 12 measly pts.

But then, another Swans song started with the arrival of Clement and we started to sing songs about drawing away at Man U, beating Liverpool at Anfield, cruising past Everton. Mostly though we sang about gaining 29pts in our last 19 games, with 13 of those pts coming from our last 5 games.

We earned our own survival Dai, no one gave it to us or did us any favours.

What has modern day football got to do with " the real world ? "
Transfer fees are influenced by the amount of free money available to Club's which has been garnered from various sources.
There's not much free money in MY world, I can tell you.

Re Sigurdsson's fee. He is "worth" what another Club is prepared to pay for his services.
Very much akin to the buying and selling of property, in fact.
What makes a terraced house in London, built for just thousands, now "worth" millions ? A buyer.

I think it's a tragedy not a comedy. I agree we need it to be sorted out now as we have a difficult start to the season that we need to make a strong start to and our preseason preparations are being disrupted.
 
Gylfi Sigurdsson has taken a full part in training with the rest of Swansea City's first team at Fairwood, shortly after Everton boss Ronald Koeman said he was not certain the Toffees would launch a new bid for the Iceland international. Everton have already had two offers for the 27-year-old rejected. The first totalled £40million, while the second was for £40million plus an additional £5million of add-ons.

Both were quickly rejected by Swansea, whose majority shareholders Steve Kaplan and Jason Levien have maintained a strong stance on the sale of a man who has been named the club's player of the year in each of the last two seasons. The Americans have insisted Sigurdsson will not be going anywhere unless their £50million valuation of the player is met, even though the midfielder has indicated a desire to move to Goodison Park.
