Haha never a truer word said. Apart from @Tobes who gets dog abuse on here (and well deserved :P) this boards good for a discussion, some banter and not really any personal abuse bar RHC but we forgive because he's old and drunk on carling all the time.

Obviously theres an element of bias towards Liverpool (i don't think any fan wouldn't be) but in general (minus astro), most of the fans don't have their full on blinkers on ala saints, spuds (The spuds have become awful and are a little saints like) and the Mancs.

I'd be worried at CB for you if you don't keep VVD. But i'd be more worried about the effect on squad this is having. the more it goes the sorer it gets.

Davis isn't a DM - just not natural to him, he needs to be further forward linking play etc.

Personally I'd like us to buy another DM as if Romeu picks up an injury then we're ****ed.

I thought Stephens looked alright, he can play DM as well apparently but he's 23 now, so kind of make or break time. Has bulked up a bit it seems.

I'm worried about defence, if Virgil and Ryan leave then we'll have only Cedric left from the back 4 who started last season... though I do trust our scouting.

As for the manager, agree he could do without but been very impressed with how he's handled the Virgil situation so far, no nonsense and it was him who told him to train alone and sort his head out not Virgil refusing to train.

Quite interested to see his team play too as he apparently likes a high pressing style similar to our first MP.

Not true that. I rarely get any proper stick on here, I get a shed load of 'banter' at times, but that's sort of the point of the site.

The Spuds don't like strangers it seems, the Saints banned me from several threads for having the temerity to be proven right over Koeman.

I've been offered straighteners on the Mackems board <laugh>

RHC keeps telling us its not a football forum so once we rememebr this and keep it to carling and gilf porn its all good.

who would be in for bertrand now that city got mendy? I suppose city bought 2 LB but... well... he'd be mad.

Cedric wasn't too bad at rb.

Stephens is probably make or break as if he vanishes now he might never make a player at all. its funny how a chance comes to guys but they have to take it and a new manager isn't ideal for him i think.

yeah the spuds are a hostile bunch. Lol the mackems are ok-ish after you get past the half of the racists and misogynists.

You getting dogs abuse was obviously tongue in cheek though <doh>.

I've always found the Spurs board pretty boring tbh. I like the mackem board though, a few who give it a bad name but loads of cracking posters there too <ok>

yes & he was the one i expected since last Jan , when i would have been happy , but did hope for better . Just hope that he fits in well & playing in a better team helps him progress. Does seem quite cheap considering the lunacy in this window.
