So has Dorty been banned? Why?

These touchy mackems need to chill.

They can't make their mind up either. For my sins I have a few mackem friends. They just contradict themselves on a regular basis. Last year it was all "you bought the championship" "the championship should be easy with that squad" etc etc. Two or three weeks ago it was "we're going nowhere, we definitely won't get promoted, we can't afford to buy it like you lot did". "We're being linked with **** managers" (of which Grayson has been one all along) "Its a **** league and easy to get out of"

Yet now they are saying "Grayson has a great track record" "We have come down with a better squad than you did" "Our squad now is still better than the one you have right now" "The league is tougher this year" "Its a tough league"

FFS which is it lads? Their blind pride and inability to be honest with themselves, let alone others is highly amusing. They kept telling me they weren't interested in us and we are small fry. The tables turn and all of a sudden they want to make constant comparisons.

I mean I know its natural as rivals to do this a tad, but its non stop. They are truly delusional in the main.

I really wouldn't let it bother you, I have Town friends who are exactly the same. Football brings out the absurdity in all of us to certain extents!

Oh, and I assume that he has been banned for taking the michael out of mental illness!

I don't let it bother me, however it is a source of both amusement and bewilderment at times. The very same lads thought loads of Manquillo when he signed and even thereafter. He's of course utter ****e now <laugh> (I have no idea if he is any good, I just couldn't trust their judgement due to constantly moving the goalposts)

Ah the old mental illness debate.

The thing is there are loads of people on these boards that are bat **** crazy at times. They have utter meltdowns and then dismiss them saying "I'm completely chilled, I'm laughing at you". That is a kind of mental illness, lacking completely in self awareness. There are others who display all the signs of narcissistic personality disorders. That's an illness too. It also depends if its mental illness which is self inflicted by drug use etc - in which case sympathy is somewhat limited.

There are many different degrees and types of mental illness and this is where this whole debate falls down. You have people who moan about people who poke fun at mental illness. Yet they poke fun at certain types of mental illness themselves? It is all a bit hypocritical.

Where exactly do we draw the line? I think too many people on internet forums are over sensitive twats to be honest

Hard to judge Manquillo at SAFC. Very few foreigners getting dropped into that fiasco would have been able to polish the turd that was last season. He was crap, but most of the rest of the players were worse.

Suffering from mental illness myself I can only best describe it as constantly suffering from cancer of the mind, of the thoughts. So I can understand when people get a bit upset about it being mocked. I personally wouldnt take the piss out of cancer so I wouldnt take the piss out of mental suffering. Thats just me though. Although I dont get upset about it personally. People can say anything on an internet forum, within reason, as far as I'm concerned.

I'm not saying I don't have sympathy, I can't really relate to it but I obviously know people who have had daily struggles with varying types of mental illness. I just think its such a vast and varying subject, I kind of take exception to those who take this high and mighty stance "I'm glad you think mental health problems are funny".

Plus is anything really off the table in terms of making jokes? My dad died of a massive heart attack - but I wouldn't get precious about people joking about heart attacks, either directly or indirectly. I hate cancer, I've lost good friends and family to it. I have heard some great jokes about it though. I think ****s are disgusting but there some good **** jokes. Personally I think any subject can be funny.

Perhaps though mocking someone directly about their mental illness I can see why it would be hard to take. I can understand that person getting unhappy about it. Its more those who sit round like some kind of humour police getting upset on behalf of other people. They can take their face for a ****.

I agreed that there are some loons on the Sunderland board. And there are. It isn't about taking the Mick out of mental illness, its about other people trying to put the boot in to the point where you 'beel'. Thats other people wishing anxiety on others. Some people can give but can't take it back. Pussies.

And let's face it boys, the real reasons why I've been banned after all these years is because two of their lot got banned because of their sick school gates gibes and because I started the warm glow thread. Pansies <laugh>
