By the way - just to reiterate - there's nothing last-minute going on at #Safc.

George Caulkin's twitter, the guy's rarely wrong. I'm happy, we may be a striker short for a few weeks but we'll be fine, I just know it.

Ha'way the Lads!

Westy - i can live with Muntari and Sessegnon coming in and no one else for daft money.

The £4m or £5m touted for Fuller and £60k per week would have been a disaster IMO.

I'd have had a punt on Danny Graham though for about £1.5m. Cant lose with that kind of investment.

It's Fuller they keep banging on about on here...http://www.skysports.com/radio

I mentioned Danny Graham to my mate last week he thought I was joking, but he looks a canny finisher who could get a lot better.

Can I just say we all felt terrible and wondered what Bruce had done when we signed Titus Bramble therefore if we do sign Fuller we need to trust in Bruces wisdom. If Gyan gets injured tomorrow night Fuller will be better than no striker at all...

Rule - if you look at the lads career, it mirrors SKP very closely. Both late developers but in the last 2/3 seasons, he has exploded into action. At 25 and 6ft 1, he fits the bill as the target man we are looking for and scores quality goals.

He would have only cost around £1.5m and £20k per week would triple his wages. A 2/3 year deal would have been a good gamble for a young hungry English lad. I know he is a local lad from Gateshead and a Mag (I know his mam through work although not like bosom buddies) but given an opportunity to play EPL football, surely he would represent what the club are looking to build?

I think the lad has what it takes from what I have seen and he is a goal scorer.
