Come on every club has ways and means to tap up players, It's the way of life and have been for a very long time.....I dont see anything wrong with it if a player that your club is interested in says Look we are prepared to give you a better contract than what your currently getting and if you are interested then we will start the ball rolling and see how we get on....All clubs do it......Huw has met players in a greasy spoon on the M4 before now tapping up players... Why Not i say as it's dog eat dog in football today....

If Club's have been enticing players then they should be challenged, and an investigation undertaken.
The whole process is unseemly, and can be prevented by the authorities playing some hard ball. Hefty fines, points deduction, Agents banned, etc.
