The Daily Mail claim Liverpool and Arsenal have already enquired about Mahrez’s availability.
Their keenness to sign him up was dampened by Leicester asking for more than £40m though.

Liverpool’s Merseyside rivals Everton are said to be interested in signing Mahrez up

Yeah of course, Madrid heard you were in for him and backed right off <rofl>

I love the way when kopites are linked with a player, the line "they only want to come to Liverpool" is trotted out in the press with frightening regularity.

Lukaku had set his heart on Chelsea according to all and sundry, and then boom he signs for United. The idea that players don't change their minds over transfer destinations is absolute cobblers.

Lukaku had his heart set on anyone but Everton, and only Chelsea looked like needing him until Ibra got crocked

Insider delivers latest update on Liverpool’s bid to sign top 22-year-old
Gabriele Marcotti gives his take on the latest reports linking Liverpool with a bid to sign Naby Keita this summer
RB Leipzig are open to selling Naby Keita to Liverpool this summer but only if they meet their valuation of the player, according to Gabriele Marcotti.
The Reds have been heavily linked with a bid to bring the 22-year-old midfielder to Anfield this summer as Jurgen Klopp looks to beef up his squad ahead of next season.

However, it has been reported that the Bundesliga club are reluctant to let the Guinea international leave the club this summer.

Now, respected football journalist Marcotti has given the latest update on the situation concerning the midfielder and Liverpool’s apparent bid to sign him this summer.

Those comments from Klopp about trying to buy a car in comparison to buying a player. Really does sound like we wont be getting Keita or vvd.

The kicker report didn't actually have any quotes or any real news that we didn't know already.

Keita is pretty much done I reckon - I'll say all done by Thursday ..

If only Sevilla didn't pay 8m. Everton could have trounced them with a starting bid of 34mil....

Always thought this would be the case. You get a feeling Leipzig would implode now if they sold him, given the stance that some in the club have taken. And by next season Bayern will be in like a flash when the release clause becomes active. Just hope Jurgen has a plan B on this.
