What an entertaining thread. My wife's been watching the telly but not me; I read this thread from start to finish. I have to say I was very touched by the mutual respect shown towards each other <laugh>

I haven't read the thread, but in true Iain fashion(boot cut jeans) I'm going to give my opinion. The places we went to war, specifically Iraq and Libya, which to be fair I don't really give a **** about and we were probably were right to "bomb ra lot ah them" but ffs didn't somebody think that it would leave a huge vacuum with nobody in charge? Schoolboy error in my book, which will soon be for sale on Amazon. Thanks in advance, guise <ok>

It means the financial sector will be ruined, also big businesses will leave the country to gain access to the single market and avoid paying WTO tariffs and your holidays to your sister in law's gaff in Lanz will be much more expensive for flights as there will be no open skies agreement in place and when you do get to your destination you will find things expensive because the pound will be worth **** all. To some it up for you, it pretty much means Brexit.

We tell the EU/Brussels to go f.uck themselves and that we don't want Europe deciding on laws that affect Britain (human rights, border controls, immigration, straight bananas etc) as these are ours to control using our own sovereignty (or by men wearing sovereign rings, I'm not quite sure).

The idea was to end our contributions to the EU and the savings were meant to be in the region of £350mil a week which UKIP and Bo-Jo said would go to the NHS. This has since been back-tracked upon.

Brexit was meant to give the UK control of immigration because we appear to have too many foreigners here stealing our jobs, homes, school places, park benches etc. Leaving the largest economic community isn't going to be too much of a problem as the UK can instead look towards independent trade deals with China, USA and the Commonwealth which the EU are meant to have prevented or watered down.

A hard Brexit is cutting all ties and bugger the consequences some of which are lower house prices, higher inflation, impact on the Pound, higher unemployment etc. A soft exit is working out deals with the EU to still let immigrants in and to lessen the blow of cutting trade ties with Europe.

It is more complicated than setting up Mouse Trap for the kids so I don't blame anyone for not knowing what the feck is going on.
 
It's usually the people that don't pay tax or live in the Country that have the biggest gobs preaching to us what it will be like living in this country.

Mick with his open borders and love of diversity living in 97% Catholic Malta and pyramid scheme scam artist Iain telling us that we will be financially ruined living in bankrupt Spain. <laugh>

But do the darkies and the ragheads come from Europe too? Last I checked, more of these types were stealing our jobs than from the EEC? :O
