Scrapping the barrel here ain´t we ? Maybe good enough for the npower still though. Still ****** off we never got Yak & again is 1 FOR our only problem I think we may need 2 plus a LM.

Some people will never be happy will they THEFOXES1884?

His last transfer cost was £17.5m only 2 seasons ago.

<doh>

I would have Santa Cruz but the problem signing players like that is they dont care. Look at Yak, Bruma, Davies, Van Aanholt, Kirkland, Bednar etc they couldnt give a crap so we have to be careful with signing big names on loan. I would prefer Beckford at 3M, I think Everton want to sell Beckford for the 3M and then get Sturridge on loan for 3M

Santa would be awesome in this league IMO. I would be really happy with Beckford too - especially for 3m, can't see it happening unfortunately. As for Sturridge, there is no way in the world he will end up here. I think he'll stay with Chelsea this season.

Before Man City signed players like Santa Cruz, Adebayor, Wright-Phillips, Wayne Bridge and Craig Bellamy loads of teams wanted them and now no one is interested in them. Clubs just see them as money grabbers who couldnt give a toss and they are right. Wayne Bridge was a solid left back then goes Man City and he is useless, he was crap for West Ham. Bellamy ends up in the championship on a massive wage which Man City was paying and teams dont want to pay 5M for Adebayor. They was all over rated players which Man City was proving a point to other teams by buying them, they didnt actually want them.

Just shows unless you a top player you shouldnt sign for Man City

Please, Proud Fox.

Wake up and smell the coffee.

Beckford will not leave Everton. That is a fact, why would he?

Sturridge is playing for the second biggest side in England, on the brink of the England squad, scored more than one every other game last season and is only 20.

Why on Earth would he ever drop down a division?

Please, the delusion is untrue

Depends who you believe. I dont think Everton will sell Beckford but apparently Everton have invited us to make a bigger offer of around 3M. If they didnt want to sell they wouldnt invite us to make another bid, they would have the same attitude like Bristol do with Maynard. Beckford has said he doesnt want to leave but he will if he has to.

Skysports.com understands Jermaine Beckford wants to stay at Everton despite attracting interest from a number of clubs.

Championship quartet Leicester, Southampton, Nottingham Forest and West Ham are believed to have expressed an interest in signing the former Leeds hit-man.

Leicester are believed to have tabled a £3million bid for Beckfordas they look to bring in a new forward before the close of the transfer window.

Everton boss David Moyes is thought to be willing to sell Beckford for the right price as he looks to raise funds for his own transfer plans.

However, Beckford is happy on Merseyside and is prepared to fight for his place in the team unless he is told to move on.

Beckford finished as Everton's joint top goalscorer last season after netting 10 goals in 38 games during his debut campaign at Goodison Park.

Why would he drop down a division when he could walk into any team in the bottom half of the table?

Please, its embarrassing even talking about it.

We will have to wait and see. Why would Yak drop a divison. Why did Kasper Schmeichel drop from the prem to league 2, why did Neil Danns reject champs league football for us.

Then answer to all them question is Sven. Never count Sven out

As Stourbridgefox said yesterday we should do a swap. Beckford and Yak for Andy King

What, so Andy King (the guy who can't get into a championship first team) is worth two strikers, one rated at at least 5m (Beckford) and another rated at 3m (Yak)

Please stop before some dickhead comes are takes the piss.

No, the answer to them all is money. Never count money out.

(Except Kasper, his arrival was down to Sven)

King in todays market is worth around 6M. Everton cant wait to get rid of Yak and Beckford isnt a 5M striker, if we offered 4M they would accept it. We all know that Everton wants King as he has been after him for along time now but never had the money to get him

If they is no money there is no Sven. Look at Blackburn they have the money but an idiot as a manager and no one is interested, yes the money gets them interested but the Sven factor pulls them in
