Being a sore loser and being smug are not the same. The author could have added his dismissive attitude to Murray when he first appeared. Said his game was all about waiting for others to make mistakes. Not a nice thing to say, but these champions don't like to lose. When Murray loses a final he has a face like a smacked arse, so does Djokovic and rightly so.
Listen to his speech when he wins on Sunday - it will definitely include something about how great he is. And perhaps he will come on court wearing trousers and a jacket again to further draw attention to himself. I don't think his behaviour is unsporting but he is definitely narcissistic. Of course he has a lot to be smug about....

Team Sky did a good one in the TdF today.
Aru and his team failing to beware the short mountain stage.
Looks like Landa might be seen as a realistic option for the yellow jersey.
He's only 69 seconds behind Aru and it seems that he rode today with the intention and putting himself into contention.
Do Sky feel they need a Plan B?

I agree with the comments about him being polite, well mannered, a great sportsman etc, but I also agree that he has an egotistical side.
When he came out once in 1930s style tennis gear embossed with his initials, he appeared very pretentious. I was expecting him to take a cigarette from an engraved case before placing it in a silver cigarette holder.

My 4 year old daughter has just told me that Joy Divisions :'Love will tear us apart again' is the best record that she has ever heard. Jesus am I going to have some problems later on.
You'll have to slide in a couple of Dusty Springfield records.....and quickly!

No.

This is classic stress testing of the Maillot Jaune and his team.
Sky also had Kwiatowski in the middle group (a classic set for a
potential bridging move - I was surprised Froome did not try) .

Aru and his team reminds me of Greg Lemond and ADR in 1989.
They have a potential winner but a far weaker team than their
rivals. If one of Froome or Landa are not blown away decisively
in the mountains, he will be subject to tandem attacks every day
in the mountains.
