Sounds well interesting mate, would like to do something like that myself one day.

What is it you're flying?
A 2 seater Cessna mate. I was shocked when I had to take the pilots seat as opposed to the copilots berth for my first attempt <yikes>

Similar mate, this thing was from the mid 70's.

You need at least 30 hours flying time to get a licence and it'll cost about £5k in total according to the instructor
 
Yeah but only of me on the deck sat in the cockpit taken by my Mrs, and I'm not posting those lol

Surprisingly I didn't get chance to get my phone out whilst gripping the controls like.
None of the plane or before you slid over and drove it yourself ?<doh>

Always wanted to learn to fly a plane but heights and me don't get on

When I was at uni there was a mature student who flew and so did her husband. Remember speaking to him and being surprised how easy and "cheap" it is to buy the actual planes but the the other charges kick in.

Is it pretty much the same now?

Yeah heights ,otherwise you would have been a top gun in the Pakistani air force too ? <laugh>
