    If you had watched us over the past few seasons instead of griping about us you would realise we arent buying him for midfield

    8m is probably worth a punt to be fair, looked decent enough to me - probably half a dozen players abroad who are on par but would cost 25-30m so why not

    Neither does anyone else, think that's part of the problem. He's almost a complete unknown, seriously who the **** watched any amount of Hull games last season (other than Hull fans, who probably didn't want to watch that **** either).

    He's clearly coming in as a backup and its been decided that Milner will do for another year, and then I'd hope we bought a proper LB next summer

    from what i've seen Robertson prefers attacking to defending though neither to a particularly high level. I would hope he will get lets lots of games as we know Milner cannot do a full season even without europe and hopefully he becomes first choice purely as that would mean he is an improvement on the existing choices & that is all you can ask,

    but if £8m is correct ,which i doubt since that figure was being quoted in Jan, in todays mad market seems fairly good value tbh.
