sounds like a plan.. markovic already has a sad pic you'd have to be a heartless bastard not to buy him for 20mil wouldn't you.
There's no need to sell to buy in terms of needing money for the fee it's just about avoiding being overstocked in a position and then being forced to offload cheaply
Nope, he called out the journalist on his claim that our rivals were doing business, then found the comment that we only had "one plus Solanke" funny because it is
Naby Keita will have to submit transfer request to force through Liverpool move please log in to view this image Liverpool’s top transfer target Naby Keita is set to return to training with RB Leipzig on Thursday and will need to hand in a transfer request if he’s to complete a move to Liverpool this summer, reports the Times’ Paul Joyce http://www.anfieldhq.com/naby-keita...sfer-request-to-force-through-liverpool-move/
And so he should put in a transfer request, as should VVD. I can remember being infuriated with Lil' Rim on that score (btw, why did we not report City for tapping him up?). It's beholding on the buying club to stump up agents' fees and signing on fees to cover what a player loses by putting in a request. Just how greedy can players (any of them), and more importantly their agents, get?
IMO you cannot expect a player to cut his own throat to join you. If you want a guy bad enough you pony up. If you need the guy to sacrifice loyalty clauses in a contract. Its not really again a good negotiating stance to then agree to pay a loss from another contract in a signing on fee. the player will simply want the signing on fee AND the loyalty bonus. who would not. why would a player give away his negotiation position when he wants to maximise his return? conversely we want to pay the minimum the fact is with Keita and vvd that their clubs have the best negotiation position and can hold the line.
Looks like Kyle walker and sigurdson are commanding fees of £50m! This league is seriously out of control.
yup siggurdson bid of 40mil turned down.. absolutely crazy. him and llorente kept swansea up sure but you are buying delivery to a big man there nothing more.
is pretty crazy not selling sigi for 40m. That guy is 28!, its not like he's got loads of years ahead of him anyway! Guess i can understand it though, he's the standout player between them and the relegation zone which is 100m
Hows that breaking his silence? He's said he won't talk about it ffs. Some of these stories are unbelievably ****e. I'm talking about the journalists, not you Dribs
9 goals and 13 assists last season is a little more than just hitting the big man lol Albeit if the 'big man' ends up being Giroud, then I'd be quite excited for next season.....
Everton are embarrassing themselves with their bids They're saying they want £50m for Barkley with 1 year left then think Southampton will accept £40m for Sigurdsson with 3 years left
