I'd rather keep Llorente than have Bony back. He's got more of a football brain in his arse than Bony has in his whole body

LLorente i think fits your team better. Why not have both!. If you could get good money for Llorente and get bony on a free though that's a no brainer.

As for chalobah for 5m, i think he's already a handy player. I'm actually a bit annoyed Conte hasn't given him more chances

Bringing Bony back could be key to keeping Gylfi. Those two were deadly together.

But the Bony we had was better than Llorente last season imo, and younger.

I would have Bony, but is he the same Bony, 2 goals last season I know in only 10 but was not even making the bench in the end, only 4 the year before. I wonder whether he ha lost his touch or was he just not a fit for those clubs and is for us. Seems to work that way for some players. I think I would like to keep Llorente, just think the guy has a touch of class if he leaves of course I would take Bony back, not sure about the 17,5 quoted though.

Tell you what, Llorente, Bony, Abraham and Gylfi would be ridiculous options upfront if we had all of them.

I'd have him back in a heartbeat if it's no more than £10m. He's worth that for his ability to defend set pieces etc alone.

Bony has been great business for us.

Bought for £12m, cheap for a striker.
More than earned his keep scoring 34 goals
    Sold for £25m

That's superb business, we're £13m and 34 goals up on the deal with Bony, so we can afford to go get him. If we could re-sign him for £13m then everything he has done in the past and will do for us in the future will effectively have cost us £nothing. That's 34 goals and counting for no money at all; if we can buy him for £13m that is.

My current concern is that we have Llorente who is injury prone. Our #2 striker to cover Llorente and to make a difference as sub is an academy trainee, a kid with no experience just lots of Chelsea promise and we as a club simply can't afford to rely on that and develop another clubs player.

What would you prefer? Llorente and Bony up top, two wise old grafters, duking it out to be the main man, or Llorente alone and only supported by a boy trying to make a name for himself? We need goals to survive, who better than Llorente and Bony to go get them for us.

As well as making our defence nigh on impossible to creek at set pieces. Just think, those two holding the ball up for Gylfi/Fer/Abraham to run through at goal.

Forgot about his defensive work, especially at corners, nothing got past him.

    Have to agree.

He did well for us back then, and I thank him for that. But,he did well out of us as well.

If he comes back and repeats then I will be the first to tip my hat to him.

Whilst he scored a lot of goals for us the first time our style has changed now and while Llorente is slow he has more all round ability than Bony. I think he will only be with us for one more season and whilst I think we need another striker it has to be someone with more pace and mobility than either Bony or Llorente. So I would rather see any money invested in that type of player.

Pretty sure llorente and Bony are pretty similar in style. Both physical, great headers of the ball and can hold it up (Bony was an absolute beast back then).

As for a different type of striker, nippy and mobile, you mean like Jordan Ayew or Albert Paloschi or Borja Baston? :)

Money for old rope Dai? but we don't want to hang ourselves do we?

Would anyone sell their family Jewell's when they didn't have to just to replace them with some expensive old tat no where near as good? You wouldn't even do that Dai. Would you sell your most valuable asset Dai and put the future of your business in jeopardy just for a few quid?. Didn't think you would.

Unless Siggy comes out and says "I want to leave Swansea City AFC" then he stays and that is that. Anything else would be bad for business.
