Hard to go into it because obviously its all hypothetical. I was just making a point although in an extreme manner than wages are a big factor and i would say the defining factor if there was a big difference. If you're on 150k, then 20k-30k probably isn't going to be the deciding factor between clubs. If ones offering 150 compared to 100 then i think it would (obviously this isn't the case between Chelsea and United, both are loaded, they will get what they ask for).
Most important (to a certain extent)
1. Wages
The next level of stuff
2. Challenging for trophies - i will define this as the big trophies (CL, Europey, PL), having won it recently (i won't put a time period) and/or been up there challenging for it or at least be seen to be challenging (like spurs).
2. Prestige of the club - Some clubs are just more supported and have more history. Real, barca, Juve, Liverpool, United, BM. I'd say since Roman has taken over we're kind of in limbo land, a lot more overseas support and have won the CL and PL a lot more but obviously not as famous as the ones mentioned.
2. I think a manager plays a big part in players wanting to play for them if they are a big name. I wouldn't say Conte is a big name on the continent (massive in italy). Even United couldn't sign players with Moyes in Charge
Not that important but will play a part if all the above are close to equal
3. Location
Just my opinion, doesn't mean i'm right or wrong and some players are a different kettle of fish (see spurs players who are loving the project under poch). I reckon generally my above pretty accurate
Moyes still managed to sign your best player according to your fans in the previous two seasons
