Your 'same as us list' has seven clubs with between 56-73 seasons in the top flight, historically they're much bigger.
Wouldn't disagree on history, but no way are they a bigger club than us in terms of fan base and recent history, hence the Duffen's jury voted them less than us.
I guess it depends on what you are basing it on.

Preston are close to the Manchester/ Merseyside plus other N-W clubs, there fan base is no where near ours.
think youure confusing fanbase with catchment area.
just cos there are lots of fans in our area,, it doesnt mean that they support us.
Fair point, but they are not bigger than us...if our fan base gets out we match them..Maybe some of the clubs have the potentially to be bigger ie MASSIVE CLUB, Derby, but at this moment in time I'd say even Steven.
