Liverpool making big money moves for the likes of Naby Keita and Virgil van Dijk could result in their highest net spend ever
Rudiger to Chelsea confirmed. Thats another club out of the VvD race. Roma will be looking for new players, perhaps we can interest them in Sakho and Markovic
2 more Reds to return to pre-season training this week Liverpool duo Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho will return to training on Tuesday, leaving Emre Can as the only first-team squad member not yet back at Melwood. https://www.thisisanfield.com/2017/07/2-reds-return-pre-season-training-week/
If we got an inflated bid from Juve for Can, say £40m/£50m, I wonder if Klopp would be willing to sell. Partly to finance other deals maybe I don't think he would want to break up the midfield more than needed.
Ok so serious question. 1. Utd pay Rooney off at the tune of 10mil to **** off. 2. Everton pay Rooney 8mil signing on fee and 160k per week. Nobody see what's wrong here?
IF VVD is clear that he'll only move to Liverpool (and we only have the Mirror's word for that), then do we have to match it? Soton can't sell him if he won't go - a contract works both ways.
In a ****ing heartbeat. He plays one good game in four, and even then he disappears for 15 minute spells. Sure, he scored the Goal Of The Season, but he's Paul Stewart with go-faster stripes, imo. And not that much faster at that. As I said once before, by the second half of games he runs like Marvin from THGTTG. That second leg semi against Soton at Anfield - true, the team was poor all around (and the were good, to give them there due), but there was shades of Joe Cole in that performance, and not the young Joe Cole who played for west Ham and Chelsea either. Not a great fan.
So there's nothing dim about paying a guy 8mil after his old club settled his contract to a massive extent to get rid? Ok just checking
Itd also be risky to leave one bid in that gets accepted in front of us while ours is rejected... on the basis of a paper report.
Because it proves that level of bid was acceptable to Southampton and removes any option to accuse of tapping up
Gotta love a transfer window.... Nooooooooooo Yeeeeeesssss Please Terrible Awful Great Masterful. Oh look.....SQUIRREL!
Open up BBC sport app.... click on football. First 6 stories are all about Rooney and his move to Everton Who knew you could write 6 diff stories about the same thing!!
I just don't see how it is a good move. Does Rooney believe he can still make the World Cup next year? If so, whats the point of going to Russia and playing 3 games to come home as failures again. I don't think he is actually good enough for Everton, yet they are paying him big big wages for Everton.
You are sounding quite worried, then again with the signings Everton are making I cant blame you. Just heard they have signed Siggy
If they have its a nail in the coffin for Barkley's Everton career Could be that Spurs might actually do something in this window.
