We could really do with a signing etiher today or tomorrow to lift the mood amongst supporters
and we dont need to sell himIt would be a massive bonus if we end up keeping Clucas but I can see someone coming in for him.
Don't get OLM started on why Rosenior should never have gone!
I'm not disputing that but I know OLD is rather passionate about this...Nearly everyone here thought he should have stayed.
We're obviously going to sign players, I'd suggested waiting to see who they are before writing the season off.
And there is Mason.I don't think Clucas will go.
I don't think Robertson will have a club willing to pay our asking price.
If it's true about Villa wanting Elmo then i think he'll go.
I'm not sure Grosicki will have serious suiters.
I don't think Hernandez will leave. His agent has tried and failed to get a move every transfer window since he joined.
That leaves a defence of:
Robertson,
Lenihan,
Dawson
Two centre backs and a right back would do as Weir can be a back up left back. Or if Lenihan is fit enough and good enought maybe 3 centre backs, one of which can cover full backs. This kid from Chelsea can can't he?
Midfield:
Grosicki,
Henriksen
Huddlestone,
Meyler,
Clucas,
Evandro,
Weir,
Bowen
That's pretty strong. Maybe add in a winger depending how Slutsky wants to play.
Stikers:
Hernandez
Diomande
Luer
Keane
Bowen
We could probably do with a good strong striker.
So in all 5 signings would be enough. 3 at a minimum.
We could do with another goalkeeper too...![]()

I agree about the first part , but don't know enough about the manager yet to have that confidence , too smiley for me , looks like he just enjoys been out in the fresh air every dayToo many on here running down to Boots chemists for Tenalady's for me. Give Len time. He won't be just sat on his arse waiting for people to contact him.

What's baffled me about Robertson is that I would've thought that he'd have been gone quick for £8m. It seemed a good price in today's market. It certainly shows me how little he's rated by other clubs. I was amazed that Burnley went elsewhere and also surprised that Marco hasn't put a bid in.
Maybe the club value him higher?
Maybe he doesn't like the wages offered?
Maybe several clubs circling?
Maybe other transfers pending that would trigger the transfer?
Maybe even he wants to stay at City?

If he doesnt go we need to tie him down to a new contract and not **** about, along with abel, dawson, clucas etc all out of contract next summer
Clucas has 2 years left I think.
