I would say if someone wants their thread deleted then fine. People should be allowed to delete what they made, but i don't agree that other peoples comments should be deleted because that's their contribution.

You seem to have grown up quite a bit recently. I can't remember the last stupid thread you did. I think it was always a case of thinking before speaking (errr typing), which you seem to be doing now.

Not that I'd ever conspire against our glorious mods but if you create it on another board (say after hours/general chat etc) then if you add it to the Newcastle board using the multi board feature the mods might not be able to close it with it not actually been classed as a thread on the Newcastle board!
Last week, it's because I'm on nearly every match day and it helps having a mod around then! I can see one being needed come saturday...
Reading the thread from start to finish, and that is quite a few pages of people repeatedly saying 'you shouldn't of said that' and 'know your limits', I think he has a perfectly good reason to not man up and take it on the chin
