It's a really exciting prospect. Think we'll be better defensively as well with Can as number 6 and Keita as box go to (plus new CB and LB).

Then you have likes of Hendo Lallana Gini rotating.

I wouldn't be surprised if he starts Lallana, he seems to be his golden boy.

Plus he wants more flexibility so who knows what our formation may turn out to be.

If we're picking the best XI, Hard to see where Lallana fits in.

He won't play in the front 3, and Coutinho is moved back to CM. we're spending a shed load on Keita so he'll start and Can is arguably our best DM.

I see Hendo and Can rotating as DM.
Gini and Keita rotating as the box to box
Coutinho and lallana rotating as the AM.

But a lot more depth now!

Van Dijk back training with Southampton
Virgil Van Dijk is back in pre-season training with Southampton today.
The Dutchman would have to tell the Saints in no uncertain terms that he wants a move to Liverpool in order to make a transfer even remotely possible
