You mean fact it's happened once compared to the hundreds of other transfers that we've done?

Nope, the fact you have been caught/reported once (ignoring youth teams).

You wouldn't say that if you had a decent manager and any hopes of top 4 football. <laugh>

Never been a big fan of top 4, CL qualification is a different matter though.
Do you think your lot will qualify?

Gabriele Marcotti names three factors that could stop Liverpool signing Naby Keita
The ESPN reporter lifts the lid on three factors that could prevent Liverpool from completing a deal to sign Naby Keita
Gabriele Marcotti has revealed three factors that Liverpool fans must consider in their club’s pursuit of RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita.
The Reds have been linked with a big-money move to sign the 22-year-old box-to-box midfielder in the 2017 summer transfer window.

Jurgen Klopp is thought to be keen to improve his central midfield options ahead of a return to the Champions League next season.

The Merseyside outfit are thought to be willing to spend a club-record fee on Keita, although Marcotti doesn’t expect Liverpool to match RB Leipzig’s £70m price tag.
Indeed, the ESPN journalist believes there are three factors to consider when evaluating whether Keita will secure a move to Liverpool before the start of the 2017-18 season.
    Marcotti tweeted:

    “Other factors to consider:

“1. Leipzig have a ton of money. So less pressure to sell and could give Keita improved deal.

“2. How bad does Keita want a move? Is he willing to force a sale?

“3. LFC have other areas to strengthen too. Spending patterns suggest they’ll want to sell too. Can they get their other stuff done at numbers with which they’re comfortable?”

Keita moved to RB Leipzig in a £12.75m deal from Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg in the 2016 summer transfer window.

The Guinea international scored eight times and made nine assists in 31 games in the Bundesliga last term.

Liverpool have already signed Chelsea forward Dominic Solanke and AS Roma winger Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool target Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain ready to see out his Arsenal contract
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has reportedly rejected a 'take-it-or-leave-it' contract extension as he is worried about his future at Arsenal.

The England midfielder has just 12 months to run on his current deal but will not sign a new contract - despite a 'significant' increase in his wages - until he is certain he will get regular game time next season, according to The Times.

Liverpool have been linked with a move for Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer, but so far have not made any progress in their £25m pursuit of the Arsenal man.

Why Liverpool Boss Vetoed The Transfer Of Talented Nigerian Winger To Newcastle United

Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp temporarily vetoed the transfer of England U20 international of Nigerian descent Sheyi Ojo in the summer transfer window.

Another Premier League club Burnley and Championship outfit Middlesbrough were also pushing to sign the exciting winger on a season-long loan deal.

The Liverpool Echo says Klopp wants to assess Ojo when he returns for pre-season training before making a decision on whether or not to send him out on loan for the third time in his career.

The 20-year-old previously enjoyed successful loan spells with Wigan Athletic and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Sheyi Ojo has contractual obligations with the Anfield club until the end of the 2019-2020 season

It seem ox if following the aidy ward model to the letter.

Someone will pick him up and that agent will make a killing... again.

If he is within a mile of any young player imo that player needs serious warning that they won't get any chance if he's their agent.

Looks Ox could be a strong possibility after rejecting the contract - anything less than £20m would be really good IMO.

Ox wants to play in CM, I am not sure Klopp is going to promise him that. Everyone wants that position, Can and Milner to mention
    a few.

He can play there better than Milner. But not better than Moreno unfortunately.
