What's grey about it? He's not offside when the ball is pulled BACK to him, and he wasn't interfering in play when the through ball was played to Hector.

A very typical Can foul aswell, tracking back and making an attempt to tackle when it wasn't really on. Its part of his game he has to
eradicate, we can't afford to give away free kicks in these areas.

Yeah but he's been asked to do a role i think is not really what we need from him next year so i wish the germans were schooling him as a DM. Overall this tournament wll be good for him in terms of experience but he will need a rest and miss preseason so should start on bench.

I hope he actually has signed a new contract otherwise we will be selling him for 10 mil in august.

Can with an assist last night. He's had a decent tournament but as I read in this thread earlier he does give the ball away too much.
If I had to guess I'd say he's going to be a top player and we need to hold onto him. Sort the contract asap.
 
Final just about to kick off. Can't see past Spain given the quality individuals in their line up.

Asensio still looks standout player.

Been inpressed with Arnold for Germany. Good playmaker in CM, everything going through him.

Of course winning the Confed Cup is the same as winning the world cup and aside from the fact that Germany have turned up with half their B team

It should technically be better than the WC.
The Confed Cup is played between the teams who have won their own areas championship and doesn't have lesser teams from all over thrown in.

Its not and never will be. Its just a dry run for the upcoming hosts, most of the teams over the years have used it to test fringe and young players in international competition. Whilst teams want to win it, nobody is that bothered if they don't.

I agree, but it's a shame it's treated that way.
It should really be treated better than it is because it contains only the Worlds best teams.
