Now Whitts has gone, Pilks is probably the most skilfull midfield player at the club - moreso than Ralls and Gunnar. The problem is he doesn't show it often enough and lacks consistency.
He's still worth his place in the squad and is a far better option to persevere with than the likes of Noone, Kennedy, O'Keefe or Huws ever were.
If he could control his impulses the way he can control a ball instead his usual rush of blood instinct, he could be a consistent match winner.
Unless we need to free up his wages, I'd keep him unless a silly offer came in - and I can't see that happening.
