LUTV CHANGES – LIVE STREAM AVAILABLE OUTSIDE UK & EIRE

LUTV now free as LUFC announce live streaming

Leeds United are delighted to announce a number of exciting changes to LUTV starting from next week.

For the first time supporters from outside the UK and Ireland will be able to watch the majority of Leeds United home and away league games with our new live streaming service.

All non-matchday content will now be available free of charge and we will also be taking the LUTV matchday experience to all new levels.

Speaking to LeedsUnited.com, Managing Director, Angus Kinnear explained the importance of the LUTV changes, “ This is a big day for Leeds United and LUTV on three fronts. Firstly the international live streaming of games is a new service for the forthcoming season which will allow our thousands of our overseas fans the opportunity to watch any game home or away which isn’t being televised. We are also really pleased to be able to make LUTV content free on non matchdays, taking fans behind the scenes at Elland Road and Thorp Arch with more content and access than ever before and finally our new 99p Matchday Pass will include a fantastic live matchday show which includes the full LUTV audio commentary.”.

    What’s new?

    • From next week everything including highlights, post-match interviews, features and daily behind the scenes access to Thorp Arch will now be free of charge on LUTV.
    • We will also be streaming Elland Road basedUnder-23 and Leeds United Ladies games live, along with all first team pre-match press conferences as part of this new service, at no extra cost.
    • Matchday Pass includes full audio commentary will now be priced at just 99p per week for all UK and international subscribers
    • Your 99p Matchday Pass will also now give you access to our all new LIVE matchday show presented by Emma Jones and Rich Williams who will bring you the latest news from the dressing rooms, pre match interviews with players, management and legends as well as half time analysis and a post match review of each fixture home and away
    • A live stream of our friendly game with Oxford United will be available for supporters who sign up to the 99p Matchday Pass as well as live footage from our trip to Austria next month.
    • Supporters based outside of the UK and Ireland will now benefit from a new pay per view live streaming service giving fans the opportunity to watch every eligible Leeds United league game to watch the action as it happens
How will this affect my current LUTV subscription?

If you are a current LUTV subscriber we will contact you shortly with information on how you can switch from your annual or monthly payment plan to the new 99p week model giving you access to more content than you have received previously.

    When can I sign up?

The all new LUTV Matchday Pass is available for just 99p per week please click here.

Keep an eye on leedsunited.com and our social media channels for more information about the great new shows and content coming up on LUTV.

*Games selected by broadcasters for television are not eligible to be streamed on LUTV

We'll be able to watch home and away games live on a PPV basis which are not broadcast live by Sky.

Anyone in the UK or Ireland just needs a VPN with which you can use a proxy server in another country. Then you should be able to buy and view games live no problem.

    This is actually groundbreaking news.

It's the way all the top PL teams would love to sell their matches rather than have to share the spoils with all the also rans who virtually no one is interested in.

Potential income is unlimited unlike the Sky deal which is very poor for the best supported Championship clubs.

Some of this must be down to Cellino as he demanded to be shown the Sky contract signed by the FL and it would be impossible to announce this PPV option without seeing the specific terms of it.

But ultimately it's Rad and his team who just get things done !

This change - PPV, decent incomers, owning the ground - is all well and good. But think about poor old Chippy. What's he going to have to moan about now? Poor fella!!!

Already mentioned above you need to purchase a VPN.

The one I recommend is strongvpn.com currently costs $5.83 per month. You can then use a proxy server from a different country so that your IP address shows up as from that server. I usually use San Fransisco in the USA for example, you can also use when overseas to show you are in the UK if you wish to watch skygo, in that instance just choose a server from the UK list of servers. It's very easy and they have excellent customer support if you have any issues.

    Hope that helps.

'kin' typical.. Been living abroad on and off for years & relying on LUTV to listen to games. Now, when I move back to the UK permanently, LUTV offer the opportunity to watch all home games.... but only if you live outside the UK . 'kin' typical. Come back Ken, all is forgiven!!!!

If it's available in India or China, it will be on freeview streams like cricinfo - so you won't need a vpn, just good broadband <ok>
