Any player coming to Saints will have to be something special to get into this team. Can't see a real weakness anywhere. So glad that we kept Adam.
I disagree. I think that showing the capacity to show some mental courage and balls to stop the Ipswich momentum in its tracks at 3-2 is more important than the defensive lapse. Every team will let goals in, but true champions show the sheer determination to win that we showed today. And i think Adkins will be over the moon that we have that capacity

I'm happy too as we beat a very good team who recently turned over Leicester on their own ground and we seem to be slowly getting another new team together, after the borrowed one was broken up after last season. TheSecondStain, been there since the late 60's so have seen my fair share of dross and disappointment, but also my share of great football and great players. But there is something about Nigel Adkins and this group of players which is begining to SHOUT "this is something special" of course it could all go to rat sh1t in a flash, but with NC and NA I very much doubt it. this is looking like a genuine golden age for the saints
WOW, would of taken a point before kick off as was not expecting us to completely destroy Ipswich. As i stated earlier in my misplaced thread I felt we had enough quality already and this result proves that if we play our game we can dismantle anyone. Majestic performance!!!!!!!

I have stayed off the match threads whilst the games are being played and so far it's 4 out of 4 including the Torquay game so I will be keeping this going for us!! What a start we are having! Beers and wine all round for us Saints - a Coors Light for me, so refreshing!
