I gave up on BCS after about 5 episodes, loved breaking bad. It seems by whats being discussed I dipped out too early.

Will definitely start it again soon.

how could you sit through all of breaking bad but not BCS. BCS is a much faster paced show.

Oh wait i know, BB had drugs in from the start, was about drugs all the way through. Makes sense now

I did exactly the same, Sky. I just couldn't get into it. Loved the character in BB but didn't hook me into this series. Might have to try again.

Yeah if I'm honest I thought it was utter rubbish after the first few episodes. Clearly things get a lot better!

The first 3-5 episodes nothing happened <laugh>

It's nothing to do with drugs <doh>

Don't tell me you watched it because you found it compelling that a straight laced chemistry teacher got into crystal meth making because he had cancer.

I know you like it because it has drugs, you love drugs and you are basically the pablo escobar, the gustavo frings of Not606. Not even @Bodinki or @Spurlock can hold a candle to you

You have to buy into the feel of it all, it's a pretty programme, lots of arty shots, superb dialogue and clever writing. The creator has improved his skills since BB but has also chilled out and is under less pressure.
Where as BB was shocking and violent BCS is like watching a car crash in slow motion. There is a man falling apart in front of us once more but he's not Walter White as he's the architect of his own downfall, Walter was raging against the world, Jimmy is shaping the world around him, badly.

I'm hardly RHC's age... <laugh> I'm still in my thirties.

Anna Gunn was probably about 40 when that series was made, so a little older than me but has a rocking body for a 40 year old.

Honestly though most women. I find attractive are in their 30's... Early 40's or late 20's.

Which strangely enough has stayed the same as I've got older. As a teen I dated my fair share of 30 somethings. Now I'm in my 30s I still like 30somethings. I imagine when I hit my 40's, 50's, 60's I'll still like 30 somethings. <laugh>

let me tell you, when you're in your fifties, the thirty-somethings don't like you as much as when you were twenty something.

To be fair, BCS season 1 starts off a bit slow and gets stronger. Probably the one show that has a fairly disappointing season 1 in relation to season 2 and 3 which really ramp up

That's depressing to hear.

The only girls that hit on me now that I'm on the back side of 30 are teenagers and college aged girls.

I have absolutely 0 interest in teenagers but they all go giggly over the accent.

Then I hate you, bitch. :emoticon-0172-mooni

There's this short, chubby bald dude at work who looks a lot like Hank and has the personality where he thinks he's an authority on everything and is a very loud type person with a huge ego.

I find him very obnoxious.

If Hank didn't look a bit like that guy, and have several personality traits in common with that guy, I might have been able to like the character.

Haha i'm surprised you like hanky boy considering he was borderline racist (actually he probably was).

For the part i liked him, i thought he was pretty funny and his jokes did make me laugh. That and he was actually quite a law abiding stand up guy.

****ing hope he was law-abiding! He popped up in a few episodes of BBT as an air force colonel who robs Sheldon's (and others') quantum radar.
