tbh that one has been the likely LB signing from what i've heard . can't say it fills me with joy but hopefully fee only circa £8m.

everton just paid 30mil for a GK.. who was RELEGATED. the world record for a keeper had been for 16 year... Buffon cost 32.4mil. now is pickford as good as buffon... nope. its just market rates. (if you note city paid 36mil for thier new keeper as world record you will see how much everton paid for the england u21 star (and he was a star in the tournament)
last year juve paid 70/80mil odd for a 29 year old higuin... and they don't even have the sky tv money!
IMO we've not even sniffed the madness yet. I think we are going to see some absolutely mad fees but end of august and be sitting hiere wondering if 70mil for a cb wasn't actually outrageous after all
