There is absolutely no need for your to "urge" me to do anything. I enjoy looking at the debunking sites as much as I enjoy looking at those whose agenda is to prove that aliens and ufos exist. Ultimately, what I am interested in is evidence of something that cannot be explained. Interpretation of such evidence is always difficult, because I am firmly of the belief that none of us have any idea what form these entities take, or what is the reason behind their evident interest in us. I do not necessarily believe that ET flies around in saucers and is grey with bug-eyes, but I remain open-minded on that. I think the reality is something far less tangible to us, and greatly beyond our comprehension.
****! I really have you rattled, don't I? You know nothing about me, Pix. What is clearly true is that I take delight in toying with your obsession of me. Always have. Again, you know nothing about me, so your assertions on that score are utterly pointless. What it does prove is the extent to which, for whatever reason, I represent something of great fear deep down in your subconscious. This desperate need of yours to belittle me is really quite fascinating and utterly bizarre. You're still smarting from my masturbating monkey jibe, even after all these months, aren't you?
There are no toys being thrown from prams, Tobias! Indeed, the only one getting heated about this is you! You are clearly on a mission to convince me I am wrong about something, even though I have told you, countless times now, that I am completely open-minded on the entire subject. Again, you are making a shed-load of assumptions, and seeking me to argue with you over them! How do you know "they" have travelled millions of light years? How do you know "they" (whoever or whatever "they" means) haven't always been here? How do you know that "they" are not another form of us? How do you know that "they" travel by conventional means? How do you know that "they" do not have the ability to travel between dimensions? How do you know that "they" are not already living on this Planet and have been for millions of years? How you know that "they" do not have bases on or inside our Moon, on Mars, or any of the other Planets and their moons? How do you know that "they" have a physical/organic body? You speak and think like most people do when they approach this subject, having been taken in by NASA/CIA propaganda and by Hollywood clichés. I tend to think a little bit more outside-the-box on this subject.
Really........then what was this then mate? Your comment informs me that you don't know what you are talking about. This is the reason why I refuse to discuss this subject with people like you http://www.not606.com/threads/aliens.349638/page-6#post-10689775
I get it - you choose not to believe in any of this, Tobias. I have been through what you are going through many, many times, in the past.
I'm open to the fact that there is probably a lot out there that we do not yet understand and falls outside of the parameters we use to explain our universe. I've taken enough LSD and DMT to understand that the spectrum of perception that we call our reality is just contained in one narrow bandwidth. The point I'm making though, and remember I have researched this area fairly comprehensively too, is that there is no credible evidence as yet to confirm that aliens have visited Earth. There is a lot of speculation, pseudoscience and people filling in the gaps. I remain open minded, but far too many people get sucked into believing because they want to believe.
Fair enough. Personally, I think there is ample evidence to show that there were civilisations on this Planet that possessed technology far in advance of our own, many thousands (if not millions) of years before the rise of ancient Suma. I strongly recommend that anyone interested in this subject read the books of Michael Cremo, especially his fantastically detailed Forbidden Archaeology. Now, whether it was aliens who came to this Earth in order to seed it, or our very own ancestors who were wiped out by some catastrophic event, that is open to debate. I am open to either possibility, including the possibility that our distant ancestors fled a devastating war on Mars (which destroyed its atmosphere). Out and out sceptics are as foolish as out and out believers, as far as I am concerned. There is simply far too much evidence for anyone to dismiss a debate on the subject as being the pastime of idiots.
I'm with you in as much that I'm open to the ideas. But 'ample evidence' ? I'm afraid not. If there was ample evidence then it would be widely accepted by the scientific community.
That's my feeling. The complete lack of evidence despite all the technology today makes it negligably improbable.
