Seems a reasonable price for an English player... although I must admit to not knowing much about him (rarely saw Hull last season). If 8m is the high asking price I'd hope we could bargain down to about £5-6m.

But I'm not sure the point in this transfer, he's not an option for starting LB and we've already got players that can be backup LB. Its a first choice LB we should be looking for.

Robertson for £8m as back up LB wouldn't be awful. If we're selling Moreno then need 2 lbs as we won't have any (Milner should be a 3rd choice last resort).

Robertson can hold his own in cups and few Prem games.

Hes scottish and looked **** v england recently.

I cant see rhis. I really cant. I hope its not another edwards "he has good stats" call.

If he arrives then imo klopp has alreafy decided milner is no 1 lb.

Imo however... theres prob a better deal somewhere but it really depends on what you want. We want a lcb who will never get beat in the air and is quick and a good passer... well thats vvd. But 70mil is a ln awful lot for a guy who had to go to celtic to prove he wasnt a total clown in terms of attitude.

There's several cbs out there who might be nearly as good but none that cover as many bases. Theres 100% at least 2 german options klopp might go for.

Anyway.... lb....this one will be interesting.

I was saying that but also that a person may know a bit about Player A bit not Player B.

If we sign Player A then that person will probably have an opinion.

If we sign Player B then they more than likely won't.
