https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Scowen Wiki says he is ours....damn...probably means Forest got in first
Everyone and their dog (Burnley and Forest at least) are after Bidwell. I assume some one in power has indicated we might sell. Now I really do not think that he has set the world on fire....but can we actually afford to sell him...with the size of our squad? We have a threadbare squad... and so far we have signed two youngsters, neither of which are expected to walk into the first team squad. I know none of you can answer this, but anyone got any idea about the "long-game"here. Are we really just building for the not-so-near future and hoping to tread water until it all comes good???
He's not Roberto Carlos so it has been decided after one season of being average for QPR after a few seasons of being quite good elsewhere that he is actually crap. We have Robinson for a guaranteed two appearances per season and the Finnish boy who has disappeared since Hasselbaink left.
But, then again, our squad will be very fit as Ollie has promised the toughest ever pre-season. So expect our players to imitate headless chickens for 95 minutes non-stop...
There has been a lot of talk about this fella over the last year or two. I keep seeing his name crop up all over the place and I am beginning to get impatient. Can anyone tell me if we have done a deal with Warren Farm yet?
Apparently we have made a bid and Ollie has been on the phone to him try to convince him that the grass is a lot greener at Loftus Rd.
I reckon he could form a formidable partnership with this Ladbroke Grove chap we're also linked with.
Don't knock him, he's brilliant! Don't know how he does it, sometimes he plays for both teams at the same time!
If we can about 4M GBP (with later potential add-ons) then in my opinion it would be a very good deal for us. Everton are also a team that have a good track record of developing talent ...and then selling them on for big fee.
Josh Scowen has agreed personal terms with QPR. The midfielder, 24, is available on a Bosman free transfer and looks set to complete a move to Loftus Road when his Barnsley contract expires at the end of the month. please log in to view this image http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/football-news-barnsley-josh-scowen-agrees-move
