Exactly. I didn't want to come home, my mates 'had' to go...
I got in at 5.15 asleep by 5.20 just woke up now.
Mouth like the bottom of a bird cage and the house stinks of farts

Lost many an afternoon in The Queens and St Johns.
Late 80s, in the back smoking room. Hanging onto your glasses as the little scary purple haired granny would have it the second you put it down after she'd called last orders.my uncle Trev used to go in St Johns... I used to frequent there too.
I love an afternoon drink more than a night out (probably an age thing!)

Poncy cafe bars I grant you. My suggestion of the wethers was met with disdain.
Me too.oktoberfest for us this afternoon.going to inspect the admiral of the humber and see how it looks after it's refit firstI love an afternoon drink more than a night out (probably an age thing!)

Sad old men shoving each other with their beer bellies ey.I had a gander at the new rooftop terrace in Admiral yesterday and it's huge, very impressed with it, can see it getting abit lively on a matchday when groups of away fans make their way up there though..
Couldn't think of anything worse then a rooftop cheap pub! But each to their own?I had a gander at the new rooftop terrace in Admiral yesterday and it's huge, very impressed with it, can see it getting abit lively on a matchday when groups of away fans make their way up there though..
Excellent ales and spirits at reasonable, prices. What's not to like greeny??Couldn't think of anything worse then a rooftop cheap pub! But each to their own?
A cheap pub without a roof top bar maybe?Couldn't think of anything worse then a rooftop cheap pub! But each to their own?
Just took a couple of hours off to go for lunch at The Star in Sancton.
Lemon Sole in a fennel cream with clams, jersey royal potatoes, samphire and some trendy flowery things.
None too shabby.
I agreeA cheap pub without a roof top bar maybe?
Nothing wrong with Spoons. Consistently well priced, and some really good beers (and spirits actually)
