Pay the 6 million

It's not greedy to set your price high for a player you don't want to lose, just like us and Chamberlain. If you were in a house you loved that was worth 100K, it would take more than a 100K to get you out.

£6million would seem bloody expensive if he breaks a leg after 2 games - we could bring in 3 quality squad players for that kind of money

 

Seems good value if he scores 25 goals and gets you promoted. Football is all about risk.

6 Million is enough to put me off, but our squad does not need depth as thats been acheived by keeping this group together. Any signings we make should be at least on a par if not better than what we have. From what i've seen Jay Rod is better than Barnard and is the type of player we should be going for, but agree we should not be spending more than 3-4million on a single player in this league

 

They're asking £6M because they know we've got it. Stuff them, I say.
