Good atmosphere for a game at this level. Helps that they're the hosts, of course.

Ward-Prowse really does deliver a good ball from set-pieces.
I wonder how much game time he'll get next season?

2-0. Murphy. That should do it.

Pickford was having a bit of a dodgy time there, so that's really key timing to get another.

Paying £30m for an inexperienced young goalkeeper and wanting to finish top 4 or 6 is a big gamble. De Gea had a dodgy start and he wasn't behind Jagielka, Funes Mouri and Williams and the rest of that Everton defence.

There's a lot to like about Pickford, though.
His distribution can be excellent and he has immense potential, if he's coached properly and keeps his feet on the ground.
Might be an idea to ease him in, but I can't see Everton doing that. You never know, though.

Penalty. Bednarek sent off. Abraham fouled.
3-0. Baker from the spot. Game over.

Robles?

Stekelenberg?

My wife's sister with dodgy knees?

Nope, it's Pickford no matter what.

Pau Lopez kept goal for 90 mins for Spain U21 tonight in a 1-0 win against Serbia. Think he was on the bench for the other 2 games, but they're 3 in 3 from the group.

Watching Mexico v Russia.Ugly little man playing for Mexico.Looks apart....his distribution and football brain reminded me of Danny Blanchflower.Name of Hector Herrera.Like Danny, seems a little slow and flatfooted but you can't have everything!
